After dark the rules bend, wandering begins, and our imaginations open up. These hours sometimes create tranquility and possibility, sometimes loneliness and fear. A musical exploration of the night, this concert is centered around Luigi Dallappicola’s haunting Piccola Musica Notturna, complemented by a new premiere from our composer-in-residence Nick Vasallo and the winning piece from our inaugural call for scores.
